Omicron Hubs Hybrid concern

I am at a hub. I am noticing some major companies are changing their hybrid work plan back to remote. I am also seeing in the news hybrids that are starting in January for major companies are now delayed until March 2022.

Do you think SF will go back temporarily to full time remote work?

I don’t mind hybrid, but I am not sure I want to be 8 hours in a building with multiple people with a contagious variant. No one know the long term effects. My friend is double vaccinated and is in the hospital. I don’t need a medical bill in addition to loss of pay for illness. Granted I could pick up omicron anywhere, but a crowded 8 hour office seems like a potential super spreader event even with mask.

Get vaccinated and still carry the virus and transmit it to other's. New Covid strain develops and the push for more government control, spending and more vaccines. The less Freedom for American's and liberals get more control. The new world of entitlements and only care about yourself. Sad but true if the American people don't change their ways.

All employees will be issued a bottle of mouthwash prior to returning to hubs in The new year. According Republican Senator Ron Jonson today, using mouthwash ki--s the coronavirus. No worries, plus your coworkers breath will smell better.

Since 99% of current Covid deaths are from unvaccinated you may get your wish-as dark as it may be.

COVID has become such a political issue that companies can’t win, no matter what they do.
Like a global outbreak cares what party has a majority in the US Congress.

It would take an outbreak of bad proportions to change. I believe if someone has any signs management has been good about asking said person to work from home. I have seen issues from a few that they have made it clear they are anti mask, anti vaccination, but that’s an issue not just in the office. Overall the hybrid leaves the office feeling more empty than working Christmas Eve.

Much less likelihood for those vaccinated to spread. It is the unvaccinated that produce the vast majority of spread. Hopefully omicron will wipe them out.

You can still get the disease and transmit it even after getting Vaxed.

You have a greater chance of getting hit crossing the street. I hope we ask more people to come in, get the vax, and continue down the path that has been laid out. It is a good plam and doesnt kowtow to the radical contigent.
