Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Demand Team

Can we look back at Wal-Marts decision to create centralized teams, especially the horrid Demand Team and how it’s crushed Walmart and our home office structure? I’ve never seen us hold onto such a bad decision due to people not owning being totally wrong.

The demand team has crushed POS and they have no clue how specific business should be managed, nor do they have the time. Too worried about limiting inventory.

In turn the best people are leaving or have left trying to work with this foolish organization and their terrible leaders.

Worst structure change I've seen yet. Stores are so bad, all the wrong people promoted, zero accountability and zero incentive for associates to actually work, let alone show up!

The id--ts in charge have gutted the pharmacy division. Morale is in the toilet and most of our experienced people are gone at store level. Who is in charge of this company? Three drunken monkeys with internet MBA's?
