Frank Jimenez is out...some guy named Raja will be taking his spot. Greg is draining the Raytheon swamp and bringing in his set of UTC frogs.
Does anyone know why?

This happened on Tuesday: Dear colleagues, As discussed on our All Hands earlier today, Enterprise Services has entered into an agreement with Aquent, a leading provider of creative talent staffing services. Aquent was chosen after a comprehensive exploration of agencies and models that could help ES provide cost effective, competitive creative services in support of Raytheon Technologies This decision is part of a broader effort across ES and TX to regularly evaluate, explore and leverage ways to remain competitive, including insourcing and outsourcing techniques. This agreement represents a significant shift in our operating model and will require dedication from each of us as we navigate this new approach and continue to support our consumers. Please know that this decision was not taken lightly and that the legacy each of you helped build is what keeps a desire for an in-house creative team alive at TX. That said, we must continue to do everything possible to stay competitive in an environment where consumers have internal and external options for sourcing creative talent. Aquent will begin onboarding in the coming weeks through June Managers will hold conversations with each of you this week to help you understand what this means for you as an individual and your teams. Thank you again for your ongoing commitment and support of RTX
IDK, but Raytheon sucks. UTC was better to work for.
Frank is a good guy.
Look at you. Starting to learn a thing or two.
If Raytheon was doing so well why did they agree to the merger? Wete they forced to?
For those of you that've been around long enough, there is quite a bit of irony here. Recall that "Crapeon" wasn't doing so well in the 90's?
Hughes Aircraft (at that point GM) in California (aka liberal Bizarro land) was still doing well and had a HUGE amount of cash on the books to cover pension benefits. Raytheon buys "Hughes Aircraft" and Hughes Missile Systems. Books now look great with historically strong engineering staff. Fast forward...
At about the time of the "merger" UTC was deep in red with about 14 billion in debt. At that time Raytheon was doing well in the profit dept (I forget the numbers). So UTC dropped two of its dead-weight divisions, made a bunch of layoffs, and "merge" with a profitable company. Do some probably sketchy bookwork and BLAMO! a new successful company.
Hello Mr. Government look at my new shiny! Can I have a contract now?
Of course he left, he told that mo--n Hayes and his band of mo--ns that an executive order was totally legal to compromise his employees medical autonomy. He knows the lawsuits are coming so he stepped down. Also this merger was used to take any decent perk that either company had and get rid of it like the excess time off UTC, rewards program UTC and Instill a corporate HR culture with the feelings police gestapo
This was never a friendly "merger". You were lied to. Simple as that. They stated it like that so there wouldn't be an uncontrolled mass exodus of employees.
Board and executive members are all being transitioned to UTC heritage leadership. They're slowly making the transition hoping people won't notice. Which is kinda stupid, but what they're doing. Welcome to the "new" UTC now called Raytech.
I guess they dont want any Raytheon holdovers. There are no more RTN executives.
What about the former RTN corporate? Have those people been laid off since there is no more RTN Corporate or have they been absorbed into the new RTX corporate? Lots of duplication of functions.
Jimenez was a decent guy. Interesting....
