Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

I can't take it anymore

I have incomparably more work now than a year or two ago. They keep adding more to my plate and I’m facing a total burnout. I am looking for a new job and I hope to find it soon, because I will not be able to sustain this pace here for a long time. How do you deal with overload?

They do that on purpose. If you cant handle the workload next step is send it to GBS for pennies.

Please if you can - get out of this toxic pit as fast as you can. The job market is improving and why should anyone need to tolerate the enormously unreasonable demands these imbeciles pile on their employees. Then after burning their staff out - they have the unmitigated gall to demand “higher performance” and toss a chintzy 1 or 2% annual increase at you with zero incentive merit bonus. The only way to win in this he-l ho-e is by finding the nearest exit and using it. Good luck to you!

Don't stress out about getting all this "important work" done because ultimately it doesn't matter. At FLNA HQ you could cure cancer and walk on water while doing it, but if you're not part of the "in-crowd" they don't care and you're still going to get layed off. So don't make any extraordinary efforts because there is no reward. Working hard at FLNA HQ and expecting some sort of reward is like buying a lottery ticket, the chances of any reward are astronomically low.

It’s absolutely horrendous at FLNA HQ. Not unusual to be online until 8-9pm each night and back online at 630am 6-days a week with no work life balance. Been with Frito for many years and I have never seen it remotely this bad. Certainly no smiles on the Frito side.

How do I deal with overload ? I just stop doing a lot of the "work" because it's really not necessary or important.
