Why are the stores not getting a deep clean? Store I work at has had several associates and managers out with covid. Store should close for a day and get this done. No contact tracing is being done. We are all exposed.

You've got to be kidding or a very new hire!
My Belk was disgusting...even had a dog po-p in the 'ling--ie' department when I was there.
We don’t care if Belk workers get sick. We need all 9 billion dollars for buying Kohls soon. We smart executive leaders know how to use our money wisely rather waste it in deep clean all Belk stores. Less people at work means let money saving on Belk payroll.
We’ve been told NOT to discuss a positive Covid test with anyone at our store. If you test positive, you just mysteriously disappear for a few days and return once the fever subsides.
No “deep” cleaning whatsoever! Basic cleaning is minimal at best. (The cleaning service never even wipes off the break room tables. You have to get a wet paper towel yourself and wipe off the crud the last messy coworker left behind.)
Shutting down the store to clean costs time and money and Belk as neither.
Our store is actually doing the opposite, we have hired people to specifically p i s s and shyt in the fitting rooms, we like it dirty. Thats just how we are.
Can’t afford it…
The same reason the store didn’t do a deep clean 3 years ago when a customer walked in with the common cold.
