Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Are we now looking at recession 2024? Does it mean NetApp layoffs are gonna be more frequent and aggressive?

With rising interest rates and everyone's spending dwindling, I can only see everything going down from here on. Fed doesn't have any other way to combat inflation, they will have to raise interest rates, in which case, companies like Google, Amazon, etc. will reduce their hiring, and companies like NetApp will start firing. Is it just me whos thinking this way?

2024? That's two years away. A lot can (and will) change.

I worked at NetApp for 10 years, they are masters of the layoff. They don't let silly economics or plagues get in their way. Layoffs are just part of the annual cycle. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Layoff
