Layoffs are simply a way of life at NOV. No surprises.
At bammel Theres no need for layoffs people leaving willingly to better jobs
Of course, it is the workers who will be cut. Management is generally safe.
What makes this even worse is that he’s not joking and probably not the only one doing this. Confirms the lack of leadership who are completely out of touch with what’s happening
It’s a great number at NOV, not many places that I can work at, get decent benefits, where I don’t bust it at all; and have plenty of time running my own small contracting business. Plenty of time to field calls, answer my business e-mails, duck out as and when needed. Best job ever! I hope this gravy-train continues! If you are sitting back and sniveling, instead of leveraging this company, it’s your tough luck.
Who cares whether NOV reports another loss this is just a representation of the ineptitude of the management just keep taking your payment for your work.
Sit back relax. Use this piece of Shhh company like they use you. Expense as much as you can, take a ‘business” trip, moonlight, etc….
Thanks to these id--ts some of us are well off but certainly not based on what they pay us. Lol
Only the shareholders are the id--ts affected by another losing qtr / no profit year but they continue to support these incompetent leadership so too bad. Long as we get our paycheck it’s easy money.
