Oxy has become a complete mess. The company is so disorganized that I really don't know how anyone can have hopes that anything will change for the better here. In addition, there is a culture of blame here. Managers don't seem to care that everything works, they just care to blame employees for everything that doesn't - which is often result of their own mistakes.

Examples: Might ask a couple of former high ranking members of management who got the boot\the blame\demoted for the APC wreck.
Can we blame managers for a culture of blame? I blame the blamers for blaming everything on a culture of blame. No one should blame anyone for any thing unless they are to blame, because that just perpetuates the culture of blame, unless they deserve to be blamed. I feel a paradox coming.
Remember who we once had as our leader who set up a lot of this culture. Initials were AH.
After all this time and Oxys track record and all the examples, still people with a look of surprise on their face and a ‘duhhh, what’s wrong? question.
OP - 🥱
OP trolling the waters, need better bait that worm is waterlogged…
OP, what can you do to help the your team, your department, the company be more organized? What can you do to help support the concept of accountability? Ask yourself how you can be part of the solution instead of just pointing to a problem.
OP,
How long have you been with the company? You say disorganized. What have you been doing that you haven’t noticed this for the past 30 years. That is why I think you are a newbie.
The Oxy culture works for a lot of experienced people but if it doesn’t work for you then move on. Good luck in your next company.
OP's post is itself an example of disorganization and blame.
OP, got any examples of disorganization and blame or are you just whining about nothing?
