the poor VP's,, i hope when they are at the winebar later that they don't get upset with thinking how badly treated they are, the brown tongue brigade yes people of mother mining, may god bless you
VPs are pulling the heavy weight for the company.
The " high potentials" are busy all day making " strategy" for organic growth, " aligning " our businesses with markets, " prioritizing" our business agenda to " Advance" 3M, and doing such high impact stuff that is beyond apprehension for the mere mortal worker bees of the company.
Lots of time spent in emails, pretty PowerPoint slides, excel sheets, mindmapping etc., and they have been doing this for a long time now. Sincerity, perseverance, dedication and hard work....
They fully deserve their bonus and salary. We need more of them !
Meanwhile worker bees of the company are focused on working in the plants, labs etc. to make inventions, innovations, prototypes for customers and 3M products. In the bigger picture, obviously these don't matter much. Hence the puny bonuses or lack thereof.
Yet meanwhile we are laying off corporate researchers and won't give plant operators an adequate cost of living adjustment.
Stock buybacks should be illegal. But they won't be because politicians benefit too.

Stock buybacks…. All these bonuses are tied to EPS or earnings per share. Rather than growing revenue its much easier to just buy back company stock to achieve these numbers. Total BS
Thats why they set impossible OP targets and for their own gains.
