Friday jan 21, after 38 years, I was let go. I was the last man standing out of a team that once had 22 people. I don't know what the he-l this company is doing. The shove customer service down our throats, but then they get rid of the people providing that serrvice.

It's definitely click baits when anyone tells where this is happening. STUPID!!!
Today is the day according to all this. Let’s see what happens?
I agree! Bunch of click baits on here!
The stories sound fishy!
Probably contractors stirring the pot.

Home too but need to get over the pain so the people that do the real job are gone but the totally corrupt and incompetent managers get to stay someday they will need to go to church to ask
Fir forgiveness tjzt id if they have a soul
It’s the 20th today
How come anyone mentions about where they are located.
Almost like click bait to read their posts.
Condolences after 38 yrs they gave you the boot, they gave me a cardboard box after 20.
they don't give a sh-t about anyone. I hope in that 38 yrs you had some good times and saved some money or bought a house. they gave me no notice at all, I was expecting it . when they send their sites to ask questions about what you do etc. The years of working fiber cuts for 24 hours straight, all the mandatory overtime, mean nothing to them , now I just have telecom war stories to tell.
@1hxw+1eSk65zV Maybe the lack of calendar reading skills is the root cause lol
More likely he was told that Friday is his last day. I guess at least they give you time to say your goodbyes but that's a cr---y consolation prize.
"I was the last man standing out of a team that once had 22 people."
