Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Nothing good can happen without it being ruined

I've been trying for years to improve things in my department and streamline some processes that are all over the place to no avail because my manager is allergic to change. Finally, with my manager out with COVID, I managed to get several things approved that make our lives much easier. To say he was pi---d when he returned would be an understatement. I am now in his crosshairs (he doesn't want anybody but him to get positive recognition) and he has used every opportunity he gets to sabotage me. It's disheartening to see how a good thing turned so bad because he's an insecure as----e. I don't even know why I care, since all of our time here is probably limited.

Nah, he proposed the 401k match replacement from the other thread (not the cake) for strictly selfish reasons. At his grade that means he gets a lot.

I believe you’re to blame: your process improvements did not follow the Lean 6ix Sigma methodology. You’ve cost xerox millions in uncertified process improvements with collateral damages that will increase DFBD (Dumpster Fire Burn Duration) / profitability.
