I know many people are looking to leave SF after the bonus , what places are you looking at ? What kind of offers are you getting? Please help your fellow employees with things you have found.

For claims jobs in injury, I have found many companies have made these positions exempt. Anyone with experience would need to be offered in the $70k range for the extra hours. Is this the experience others are having ?
Information Security - Salesforce, Amazon, US Bank - has pension, American Express, VMWare, Dell, etc.
Ex fire Underwriter working for DOI.
Within the last 5 years, some of the people I know left for the following jobs: work for a public adjusting firm, started their own public adjusting firm, case managers for CA Fair Plan, claim rep for utility company (So Cal Gas), injury case manager for a law firm, claim rep for TPA handling Uber/Lyft claims, product liability case manager for a company making water supply lines, Farmers commercial liability rep, Farmers rep for big asbestos cases, SIU for NatGen, Complex proper rep for Liberty Mutual, Team Manager for large property loss for Liberty Mutual, 4 people went to Mercury as a property claim rep, a few became SF agents, property claim rep for Chubbs insurance, a marketing guy went to a large cosmetic company. Can't think of them all, but hopefully enough to get the wheels turning for you guys.
@1wyt- I feel like the other insurance companies are not aware of the current conditions for claims at least. I think the big change is working from home is now a main stream thing, many more handlers are interested in leaving then in the past .
How is everyone else's search going? When I applied to a few other insurance companies I get asked why I'm leaving State Farm, like it's supposed to be the best place to work. Little do these people know...
Well after reading some of these comments I kind of feel better I didn't get selected with the few companies I did try.
Avoid: Allstate/NatGen, Geico, AAA. The rest, do your homework anyway because certain departments in USAA and Farmer are pretty bad. The whole claims industry is bad in general, but if you have no other options, at least try to network before jumping in. For example, there was an opening in USAA SIU. So I figured USAA is a good name nothing to worry about. I called my contact at Liberty Mutual who provided me with a contact for Los Angeles USAA SIU rep. USAA rep told me they work 6 days a week, and many haven't had a vacation in over 2 years. After that I ghosted USAA recruiter. My advice is to always do your homework to the specific department you are thinking of going to; don't just look at the name of the company.
Rivian won’t exist in five years, way to late to the party.
Just stay away from Allstate and Geico. Anything else is a step up from SF.
How much is Rivian paying ? What do you like about it over working for State Farm?
I walked away from SF in July. It was the best thing I ever did. Like a lot of people, I went to Rivian. It's the best company I've ever worked for. I worked for both Country and SF each for many years. My suggestion to most is to get out of the insurance industry. It's a dying industry. Everything is being automated, and it's not just SF. Reinvent yourself. I was heading toward a heart attack if I had to stay in Claims any longer.
Sure I’ll start , I’m in injury and looking at Progressive, Kemper and USAA. My current salary is the starting salary for most places, which is depressing to be honest, SF is way behind the market. From what I’ve seen, Allstate and National General are places to stay away from in claims .
