Don’t see leadership qualities in LCS. A recent appointments is a kiss up and kick down types. Some have little qualification and little understand of the massive work that needs to be done. Looking more like another good old boys and girls club.

Cronyism prevails.
It does not seem to me that EM ever considers “toxicity”. I have encountered many people for whom there was a consensus of toxicity that they were getting promotions and crucial positions over time.
In a particular case, a manager also acknowledged the person’s lack of abilities and toxicity, but there was nothing that could be done. It is too difficult to raise the topic.
One of the recent appointee is a joke.
One particularly toxic person going that way. Apparently no one checked on his track record of causing havoc.
You've got to realise that LCS is not a technical organisation but essentially an appendix of P&GA. It has only one goal : green wash the corporation and provide upper management with some “talking points”, while spending as little shareholder money on real GHG emission reduction projects.
Not a surprise if most important skills required are bullshitting and PowerPoint expertise..
I know of another A…ho-e going that way.
I've got confirmation of the one assignee to that group that I know of that they got the job because they presented themself as a green washing propaganda conversion machine. That was their sole qualification.
If you're in anyway slightly critical of CCS or blue hydrogen, you've no chance of getting any exposure to that value chain...
It is still Exxon. So yes all the exact same “qualities” of leaders. Endless review prep so they can shine with the Dallas MC on ridiculous pitches. Kiss up and stomp on the face of the workers, particularly if they have any ability to think critically. Think everyone knows this is how the company operates by now. Learn the game or get a new job.
Yes, similar observation. Another stomping ground for HiPOs to burnish their resumes
