The red vests are targets for customers to yell at down the aisles. I had one whistle at me and I waved as I disappeared around the corner. I love being rude to as----e customers. (Which is half the customer base now). Do you hear me Turtle? I’m RUDE to your customers!

So here's an idea: how about at least attempting to rise above other people's rudeness and disrespect? Do you feel helplessly pulled down into their vortex of bad behavior? Because I do NOT. Yes it makes me angry. But I am only doing the bare minimum if I can STILL be respectful when others are not. Don't let jerks determine your day...or your life. You have agency.
A lot of customers ARE rude. If some of you think that’s “ok”, then you are the stupid one. Go ahead, shop at Ace if you are rude and expect “great service”. Commenter one, you are the one that belongs under a bridge.
And this is why I started shopping at Ace .
We always play "dogde the customer." You see one coming over to you and grab your zebra to pretend you got a phone call and head the opposite direction. Or you're walking down the middle aisle and a customer waves at you, you wave back and fly down another isle. If they zig, you zag! Whoever dodges the most, wins a 12 pack. Makes work sooo much more fun!!

I would always ignore a customer that whistled at me to get my attention. We are not dogs. On the other hand, if you choose to work at a Lowe’s store you ARE agreeing to be courteous to and assist customers. If you don’t want to do that, then yes you do need to find another line of work.
To the Marvin boot li---r below..go cut some glass or topstock toilets like a good little lowes soldier. You must enjoy being abused huh? Get off on that? Some of us want bare minimum respect ok? You respond to dog whistles? What does that make you bi--h?
If some is going to whistle at me she better have a steak dinner ready for me after I take her to space mountain.
You took a job in direct contact with customers and you are surprised they ask you questions?. You are the azzhole. I hope you get fired and have to live under a bridge.
