Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Bonuses

I am a manager wanting to put in my notice. I also want to stay long enough to collect my bonus. Does anyone know the exact date of the end of fiscal year? I was told you have to be there through the 4th of Feb since the 31st falls in that week. Does anyone have a clear answer? Thanks in advance.

February 4th would be your last day to work.

…seriously… how could a manager not know when the FY ends… it’s on the planning calendar… that all associates can look up.

Being a manager I am sure you can ask your People Lead, your market HR or your market asst for a true answer

I wouldn't quit until the check hits your account. This company can and will fu$K you out of absolutely anything it wants. After the check clears, leave without notice because you have ample time to accept another position by then with a starting date to coincide with your needs.

It's the Great Resignation! Cause the cr---y employers like Walmart a major public relations nightmare. Lord knows they've earned it.

I want to know too. I was hoping for severance but I'm just tired of the BS. Tired of having cr---y managers who have no clue and want me to do their job for them.

I think technically it's the 1st of Feb. Don't put in your notice until this date. Some stores will terminate you as soon as you give them a notice instead of letting you work those last 2 weeks.
