So is claims supervisor going away or not? I read that it was up to store manager if they stayed or it became ap tl.
Also, only thing coming soon is there new attempt at promoting in the company (Both internal & external). Some program that is coming to show off how great it is to work at Walmart. My bet is they expect alot of turnover.. Which is already happening.
Changes did get pushed back because its after February 1st and NOTHING has changed. - Long Term Salaried Manager
YBM being pushed back does not necessarily mean changes to roles are being pushed back.
It is more likely that it means they don’t want to waste travel and hotel costs on folks who will no longer be working there in a few weeks.
They pushed YBM back so I'm sure any changes got pushed back.
New walmart year starts in a few hours so wonder when they will announce changes?
Wm is a revolving door with management and associates. It’s a cesspool of losers. People walking around with 20 yr badges can’t afford to leave so they have to stay or feel they have to, (they don’t). It’s about $$ not the people or customers they don’t care about either. Stay until you find something better and trust me there is. I was at wm 25+ years and never even think about it anymore. God Bless
Thank God they’re getting rid of these people Leads my last two stores both of them sucked idk how you can lead people when you have no respect for them
I went to indeed and see nothing about People Operations manager. Is this something you have insight to or just rumors on the internet?
People leads have to reapply for the new position called People Operations Manager. New position expected to start date is February 28
If you go to indeed.com and search for People Operations Manager they are already recruiting for the position,
Auto Care Center ASM's are on the chopping block.
Replying to the person discussing VC mgr in licensed states. My presumption is that the VC manager ROLE will be eliminated, not necessarily the associate in all cases. VC managers who are also licensed, in licensed states, will be given the option to remain on staff as an LDO…..with a pay adjustment of course. Which means non licensed VCMs will either be terminated or offered another role in div1 in the store/market.
The only question really, is are they going to eliminate those roles before or after the end of January? If it’s before, then they get no 2021 bonus. If it’s after, they’re still eligible for bonus from 2021.
Either way. It’s VERY clear, across the company, for a plethora of red flag reasons, that VC managers are done, at no fault of their own. Welcome to Walmart.
I'm hoping Claims Supervisor will be eliminated and they tell me tomorrow.
People LEad positions are being eliminated and going salary in February or March. They will be called People Operations Managers. All People Leads must reapply for these positions. This is Walmarts way to weed out the "old" and bring in "younger" new blood.
I too heard that VC managers were going to be eliminated. Part of the reason I left in October. I just wonder how they will get around this in the licensed states. They will lose hundreds of associates that were managers if they do this. May the force be with you LDO's , there is life out there after wmart. Good luck!
When will PL be gone? Timeframe?
People Leads are gone. They are going Salary. New position is People Operations manager.
If claims is gone who will process returns?
Need to sell the Pharmacies to Humana, United Healthcare, Cigna, Walgreen’s and rent the space. Both parties would reap the profits. Make all the pharmacist start over with the new company, cut their pay in half and start them out with one weeks vacation. Walmart would make just as much with the rent and get rid of the aggravation. The money is made in OTC and would still have all of that,
Still waiting on the claims supervisor position to be gone
Vision center managers are going bye bye.

That change would give the Health and Wellness Market Directors great job security. After all, they've all had plenty of experience doing exactly that to their Regionals for quite some time and ought to be pretty good at it by now.
Rumor is they want to remove in store pharmacy - drive thru only moving forward. It would be a multi year program.
It will be replaced with a holistic health approach. Basically, a massage parlor that ends happy.
