Cut all the layers of management for low rates? Where are they
Allstate arrogance continues unchecked. Flashback to May 2010 when top Sales VP Joe Richardson publicly proclaimed that we would pass State Farm within a decade to be top PC carrier. How'd that work out? Went from #2 to #4, Richardson and other VP's gone, and Wilson hanging on to repair or reshape his legacy.
If these comments are accurate, sounds like the meeting was a giant corporate word salad buffet.
The possible bonus is just smoke and mirrors, trying to distract you temporarily but reality will set back in and the realization of what a sh-t show this company is

They’re really late to the forest model because they keep hanging on to the agent ideology. Now they’re trying to catch up. Good luck.
Guest speaker Brian Sullivan was the best part of the program. He was very positive on leadership, vision, and capabilities like strong presence in direct, agent, and IA after Esurance transition and NatGen purchase. But he was also candid and accurate in the final assessment---"you never grow customers, and you have to grow". Now we're saying .6pp market share annually, but of course, it's now delayed due to inflation. When State Farm goes direct, or Geico builds out agencies, the shrinking share will accelerate.
Was Nat Gen leadership in this meeting?
