Salary Grades

Does anyone know the salary grades for D0 employees? My current role is posted as a D04 on the internal careers site but i am a D03. Any advice?

SO much misinformation on here. D04 is higher than D03. D04/D05 typically where ppl management starts (unless on individual contributor track). Compensation ranges vary by location. Increases and promotions do happen. Talk to your manager and if he/she balks, go to their manager and make your case. You can try AskHR but keep expectations low. Not sure if that's something they will share unless you are a hiring manager.

AskHR is useless. Been waiting almost a month for an answer to two simple questions about my last paycheck from last month.

Forget about D04 and just get outta Dodge and get a new job with a real company that gives a $hit about it's employees. Good luck

You could try AskHR email. Not saying it will work they are pretty d-mb in most responses but worth a shot

It may well be that your job is actually a D04, but you've never been promoted. Dont worry, you haven't missed anything. Management have been calmly removing the benefits that previously appeared as you progressed up the ladder.
And, even if you managed to get the D04, you'll be told there is no monetary increase...

D level suggests professio roles or managerial roles. D03 would be a manager with direct reports, while a D04 would be a director with managers reporting to them. Pay on levels is huge spans so hard to say... unlike folks have mentioned sounds like your boss should worried, not you.

I thought the company did away with all salary grades about a decade ago and just froze everybody's salary forever.

Well, my advice is to just plain leave xerox immediately. Let them play with their pay grades and what not, this is not a company who cares about anything anymore.
You, nor I , or the customer is going to change that, as they have an agenda of self destruction, that is beyond repair at this point.

A D3 is higher than a D4? This is what we have left. I guess I'll go tell my E3 boss that as an E1 he works for me now!

Time and energy spent on this is completely wasted. Update your resume and get out.

A D03 is higher than a D04 - so are they looking to lay you off and bring someone in for a lower salary??????

Your current role's salary range is from $55k to $LEAVE NOW, with a midpoint of $GET OUT. Your manager is screwing you, and definitely not looking out for your career advancement (not that there's such a thing at Xerox anymore, lol). Seriously, my advice is to update your resume and start looking for a new job outside Xerox if your haven't already. Now is the perfect time and you'll be WAY better off once you land something.

There really is not difference between a D3 and a D4. Read some of the other posts here and see if you might be able to answer your own question.

Better yet find a new job outside Xerox. If they're posting your role at a higher grade than you currently are that says allot. It's like them offering you more money to stay after getting an external offer - never a good idea. They're clearly not looking out for you.

I would tell my manager what is listed as and that I need a bump. Not sure what kind of appetite they have for promotions or how your manager is, but worst they can say is no. You definitely won't get it if you don't bring it up.
