Not sure if he was pushed out and not sure he was happy about the move to CRS.....a year ago. Lets see where he ends up.
They brought all of Retail Services into the Consumer Bank and out of Citi Holdings a few years ago. All the functions are being intermingled with the Consumer Bank - marketing, ops, IT, etc... Yes, Chubak is smart, but after just a year in role, makes you wonder if leaving is his choice or not.
You could be right about Retail services, CRS digital was recently brought into consumer digital, maybe select cards will be maintained, and the rest sold off?
my guess is they are thinking of spinning off Retail Services....David was the head of that division. Retail Services was also in Citi Holdings years ago so was slotted to be reviewed as an asset to get rid of.
Pennies to the employees was due to the fact that the company gave always hundreds of millions to the wrong company and even more in fines. So the employees pay the price…not the upper echelon of course, they still get their huge slice of the pie for you know…..giving away hundreds of millions to the wrong company. Makes sense to me.
Is he the one that authorized pennies to employees after this kind of year where more was asked of us???
