Greetings fellow Lowe's peeps- Heard from senior management in the vendor community that big changes are coming to the PSE program. Has anyone heard anything? Please share as I have been on the fence about leaving Lowe's for almost a year.

I was an original in Indianapolis. They told us to make it our own business in a business. Then they spent years taking pot shots at the golden goose. It really sounds like they’ve finally knocked the old girl off.

Let’s be real!! The people making the decisions for the installed sales dept have no idea what they are doing. Have any of you been approached by upper manager to get real feedback from the field? I ran over 1000 leads 3 years in a row. I know what I’m talking. About. My DMIS did not take any of my concerns to the upper management. It’s a complete mess. And What’s with the consolidation of the installers for door and windows? Provide shotty service and double the prices. ?! The customer experience is terrible. I feel like I’m lying to the customers when I sell something. Enough said….

The PSE changes being made are great for the program. Going to a more traditional sales structure. If you got let go as a PSE it’s cause you couldn’t sell or your store was not getting enough leads to have the position. Simple as that. As for the program it was extremely profitable in 2021 and a lot of money is being put back into program. Don’t listen to the disgruntled

sounds like basically they are being eliminated at the store level and will instead move to being an area or district position with each pse covering multiple locations. More of the “more with less” business strategy.

Lowe’s corporate doesn’t know wth they are doing. They haven’t for years. The Install Program used to be very professionally ran. Now? A complete CLUSTER FCK!

So one PSE will do all installed doors in multiple stores? Good luck with that.

Received phone call yesterday. Lost two PSEs in our market. One PSE will cover a territory of two stores. The two stores covered are 60 miles apart and cover large territory. So one guy lost his job and the other guy has an area that's about 5 hour drive to cover from one corner to the other.

PSE since beginning of Program. Lost multiple in my district. Many others around were eliminated. CSA 1 or 2 OR 2 weeks severance - as a salaried employee- terrible loyalty - loyalty they expect from us never shown back to us. Email and communication next week to go further. Was told to Hold on…more sh*t to come. Could be good, could be bad. If following HD in all things - the beginning of the end of the program.

I’ve heard that multiple pse will cover district. All doors will shift to them for details etc. millwork specialist will be csa. Fencing and decks go to type 2, freeing up pse to do doors.

Many PSE positions openIng up Midwest and East Coast. Does Lowes have an exit plan from pse? Interestingly, they just doubled the lifetime warranty on installed windows (labor included). Are they throwing cr-p at the wall? What gives?

PSE’s are on the endangered species list. We have many extinct Lowe’s positions on this list.

I second that...just was told the same. Csa1. Been with Lowe's for a while, they figure they can manage with the coordinators is my guess.

No clue, but after 8 years as a PSE I was just told my store no longer qualified to have a PSE and was dropped to a CSA1. What a slap in the face.
