So, we have to complete our vaccine verification by the 16th and cases across the country are spiking at over 730,000 yesterday. At the same time we are telling people to come back to work after five days without a negative test and are now scheduling huge meetings and requiring people to travel and get together for meals and entertainment.
It was bad enough having regional and district visits where we are forced to eat together with people who just got off of planes and in many cases showed symptoms during store tours. We have a bunch of people out with Covid in our store and two family members of a team member just passed away due to being infected.
Have we decided that meetings, meals, and travel are now more important than people who work here getting Covid? We still see leaders taking calls from their homes on video calls, but now we are asking people who work in stores and are already at risk to travel and go to meetings and dine out together. We can barely staff our stores today due to people being positive, does no one notice? What happened to high-touch cleaning? Are we just giving up? Which heartless genius decided that a little collateral damage was well worth the benefit of having meetings again to feed the leaderships ego?
We are trying to survive out here, how about a little help and consideration?
