Rumor has it there will be more district staff changes as Lowe's gets more advanced in technology and centralization, the less need for the traveling clown car to show up at each store. It is about time!

I’ve heard that talent acquisition positions may be on the chopping block too. Basically all they do is recruit. That can easily be done electronically from the home office.
In home services, HR for each district could be eliminated. In home and HR should be Regional only. I heard it is happening in 2022, but also heard that about HR in 2021. With all centralization going on - no need for area HR folks.
The higher yougo the less a$$es there are to kiss and the more lower echelon duma$$es there are to mess up and get you knocked off.
Maybe they’ll have another great purge where they eliminated hundreds of district managersNot to worry though your favorite but holes always keep their jobs
Heard that the ‘in-home services’ district position is being eliminated. All ours does is come in every couple of weeks and high-five the sales specialists and call them ‘rock stars’ in front of everybody. Not held accountable for anything whatsoever.
District Managers/Market Directors- whatever they are calling them this month make INSANE money. I think if most associates actually knew what these useless folks made in total compensation- they would demand on the spot raises or walk and find another job.
Long overdue. Both area and regional positions need to be reduced. Most area positions —such as for mst and “home services”—are an absolute waste of payroll dollars. Eliminate them.
