IBM bought i2 in 2011. Now they sold it 10 years later. Palantir stole the code for i2 in creating their product, for which they were sued by i2, and IBM inked a massive partnership with Palantir last year. Looks like the “new IBM” means pandering to the whims of smaller software shops because we’re desperate for business. How the mighty have fallen.
You got to sell some stuff in order to be able to buy some other stuff... It is not like IBM has money to throw right and left like Apple! IBM can already barely make the dividend payment!
