More people are leaving for better opportunities - and let's face it, anything is a better opportunity than Lowe's - and we can't get anybody to replace them. Saying we're working with a skeleton crew would be generous at this point. I wonder if there is a plan in place on how to address this or is the leadership just keeping their fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Half the time there's no one in many departments and customers are walking out in droves when they can't get help. Marvin and his cronies need to hang in a store and watch how much money walks out the door every day. Thousands of dollars per store. If they had more help there would be higher profits but there's no metric to quantify it except two eyes.
The last poster said it perfectly. Once you get out, you will see how poorly Lowe's treats its employees. Other companies do not operate this way. It has to be a pump and dump scheme.
I got out last May because of all the BS. Was with the company for 9 years and it went down hill so fast after Marvey took over. Couldn't be happier now.

Truth- the lady at the pickup window in California makes $15 an hour plus tips and free food. The restaurant have over 25 employees. She just gossips all day and hands people their bags.

toxic investing has been the ruin of many a company and it is likely our fate. D.E wipes his a** with $20 bills just because he likes the texture, so this whole mess should shock no one.
Agree with last post. Lowes is below par on so many levels. Everyone pays more now and Lowe's won't budge..so leave now and realize later how much time and effort you wasted.
Just leave! If you think any of Marvin's plans are anything but a pump and dump scheme for the stock price you are a fool. Everyone is disposable, even Marvin the moment he doesn't follow D.E. Shaws directives. Fast food pays more, and you get free food. Stop fu----g crying about how bad it is and do something about it. Lowes will only get worse. I left over a year ago. You can't understand the amount of bu-----t you have become comfortable with eating until you get out and look back.
