PepsiCo seems to have lost any remaining respect for the people who do the actual work and we're now at the stage where the management has declared war on regular employees. They are laying off the best people, cutting benefits, refusing to give raises or bonuses... I wonder what's the end goal here? Do they not realize that we're the ones who are doing the work that brings in profit, not them?

That’s because middle management at PepsiCo is filled with the most insecure people to exist. They are threatened by hard workers and easily impressed by a-s kissers who do no work. Plus, I feel like this company has an internal plan to try and keep the average employment under 5 years. That way wages can stay low while they claim they are always looking for new ideas.
The entire idea of the PepsiCo Way is an absolute sham starting all the way at the top. Ramon pulls in 60 million a year while everyone under a level 10 gets 1-2% raises. More money for the people at the top, and the low raises serve as reinforcement to the idea that Pepsi wants people to leave after they milk the good employees for all that they can.
My New Years resolution is to do the absolute bare minimum this year and to get layed off and then get a new job and be free of this toxic environment and the toxic nasty people here.
