Let me save you some time and summarize for you , what 96 out of 100 posters on this site are going to write :
- Barnes and Noble is the worst company EVER . In the history of companies, not one , not one single solitary company could ever be as bad as this one , I mean really , not kidding , the worst , EVER , in the history of the world , as far back as Adam and Eve and the first ever company which sold scrolls to read , nobody is as bad as these guys . And EVERYBODY is miserable . Everybody .
- EVERY MANAGER AND EVERY PERSON IN A LEADERSHIP CAPACITY is a compete mo--n, I mean really, the dopiest of the dopey , and cruel beyond belief, d-mber than dirt and nastier than all evil dictators rolled into one . Really . Every single one , not a single exception , 100 % of them creepy and not especially nice .
- The Holidays are over and EVERY SINGLE STORE is about to close . Every store is next , your store and her store and the other store , every one , is about to close immediately . No exceptions. The big ones , the small ones , the unprofitable ones, the ones that work well, the ones run by those cruel managers , all of them , right away , instantly.

If you appreciated your employees as much as you say you do, you would've offered them positions to try to keep them, but no, just throw them out like bad trash!
And the management, especially the execs are some of the most corrupt people ever.
B&N is such a bad, hypocritical company that treats their employees worse than they treat the shoplifters. I know first hand. Anyone still shopping there should be ashamed they support such a vile company!
One of my co-managers was talking about this page so I decided to post. Rest assured, we all know things are not going as well as we had hoped with the company but we're doing our best to remain relevant. It's true, we are closing under-performing stores faster than we have anticipated and are saddened to let go of those great employees but wish them well with their new endeavors. The rest of us will work hard to keep the ship afloat for as long as our faithful customers and budget allow. Keep up the good work! You are all greatly appreciated just like the thousands of employees who were laid off years ago.
