Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

New attendance policy

Has anyone heard about the new attendance policy they’re starting next year? Moving forward, 3 occurrences will put you on a UN, and 4 will get you termed. Additionally, calling in for consecutive days off (even if you have PTO), will now all be separate occurrences.

What else could go wrong? Oh! If you have to miss half your shift for some reason, and you don’t let them know before the shift, it counts as TWO occurrences.

Just another tool to get ready for the big move to India. Squeeze out as many people as they can with new firm attendance guidelines terming you "for cause" and not have to pay severance and unemployment.

Surely that must be illegal. They are going to but out all of their employees. What are you supposed to do if you get covid?
