1980s company can only offer 1980s systems and processes. Upgrade will cost money and your CEO is an underpaid one remember?
Blame our HR department & their antiquated HR systems. Guess what, getting your raise in person on a hand-written post-it is so 1980's. One should be able to go to CareerConnect and get that info. That's what happens in the outside world. You also get to see where you are on the pay band.
Heaven forbid your supervisor use their own personal benefits
