Anyone see the CNBC news release of the interview with CEO MT? You would of thought the self promoted MT wore a cape by prematurely taking honors
on turning BBBYs business around. What a joke. I think it was just a maneuver to soften the pending Q3 lousy results.

CEO kept BBBY afloat during Covid by selling all of BBBYs tangible assets he inherited.

MT meeds to get his resume out on the street. His last days are soon approaching. This goes for the rest of those who drank the Kool-Aide.
MT is a genius and his leadership will be reviewed in the business journals as a model for success for years to come.
Yes, I agree that MT is very premature in implying the BBBY transformation is on track and successful. This reminds me of a quote from an intelligent man from the 1800s in America, where Abraham Lincoln said; "The hen is the wisest of all the animal creation, because she never cackles until the egg is laid.”
Q3 must be going to be horrible because the geniuses in Corporate accelerated the one billion dollar stock buy back. What a waste of money that could of best spent on bricks and mortar. A 5th grader would understand reducing the outstanding shares through the buy back is just a short-term display to raise EPS and stock price. BBBY is running out of arrows in their quiver.
It was a PR interview with softball questions just like all the liberal hacks such as CNBC would spin up. All the good News Reporters worth their salt left CNBC to work for Fox Business.
