Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Since the Northbrook office was sold, does anyone know if other office locations will be sold too?

They can't sell what they don't own, Northbrook was the only property they actually owned. What most people don't know is that leases were running out mid 2020 to mid 2021 so a lot of what happened was planned prior to COVID.

State Farm did the same thing about 2 years ago, closed a bunch of places and centralized some operations, we are just behind.

I have seen a lot of people I know leave Allstate many went to competitors and they are seeing the same high turnover as people are taking advantage of going to a new company and getting better than a 3% merit raise.

OMG please I hope so! I want out of this $hitshow and competitors are already recruiting (oh wait, "poaching" what happened to at will @holes) heavily from staff.

Why do you think the "higher than anticipated turnover" occurred this year? I'd cite the stat but it would get quashed.

BTW FO HO spies.
