Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

This is d-mb

I’m not sure what they expect to happen here. We have no one to help people that are actually in the store and those that we do have are on bopis and cds. This is absolutely stupid. I have worked here a very long time and I have NEVER seen it this d-mb. And tomorrow is going to be the same. I’m finishing out this season and then I quit. There’s so much to do and so little people to do it. Many times…like now our stock rooms and receiving are so backed up because there’s no put away that it is a total safety issue and no one cares!!! The thieves know we are short staffed too and the are coming in in droves. If that corporate goon with all the positive posts is reading this…it’s true. This is stupid!!!!! I’m so out. And I’m not the only one.

It’s all about teamwork and time management. My store has plenty of employees to help customers and take care of the tasks. We are a highly effecient team and our results show it. Conversion is always above 70% in our store!

Lol…I’ll play!!! Op here again! I have only posted 3 times now! The original post! The defense of my post! And this time because I let a snide jerk get under my skin! And I used exclamation points! Thanks for degrading my thought to this!

Unfortunately the word must be out that we cannot chase. We have had many push outs and the perps say ha yea you can’t touch me.
It’s so frustrating that we can let people who blatantly steal from us walk away.
Minimum wage for me has me like looking. I tried to be loyal to this company but it is not worth it.

OP, don't pay attention to people that call you out on here defending this place because they are scared and too lazy to move on. They cling to whatever they can to make themselves feel better. Truth hurts and a knee-jerk reaction is to lash out at someone who speaks something they don't want to hear. Everyone can see the huge problems here, the smart ones are accepting it and doing something about it to protect themselves. The others are like someone standing in front of a fireworks factory that is on fire denying there is any danger and they look and sound like mo--ns.

Anyone else notice the OP.posted overnight with multiple exclamation points and then some replied just after with multiple exclamation points? I think they are replying to themselves?

13 year old OP here….a very long time is 17 years. I fail to see any part of my post that was even remotely juvenile. Sure I could have used the word d-mb a lot less but I simply couldn’t find a better word to describe the situation.

they know and they don't care, they don't have to deal with any of it working from home or their cozy little offices. all they have to do is announce another partnership so the stock gets a quick little bump and they make a quick little profit

The OP sounds about 13. Your wording gives it away. What is a very long time ?
