Remember when working here was fun and rewarding? I do. I remember having more realistic schedules and when I could get time off when I needed it. I remember when I didn't have to be at three places at once because we had enough people to cover everything. I remember this place when it was good. Sadly, that's long gone now and it has been gone for years. Things change in retail so fast and we're the ones to pay the price. But I do keep hoping we might go back to that time by some miracle even if I know it's just a pipe dream.

That’s why when you hear every morning about the safety of our employees are are number one priority, it makes me laugh. The company knows you as a number. They don’t care about you. Do a 12-15 hour shift daily. They want more. You can drop. This way we can blame you for everything that goes wrong.
I’m out soon for having a voice. Good luck to all who remain. I had a good time except for people who use you to their advantage. Then sc--w you over. Macys use to be a Great place. Now you wait for the next shoe to fall.
Other retailers like Costco and Target may be a better place to work at now and in the future instead of Macy’s.
