It may sound strange, but I think they are systematically working to destroy the self-confidence of employees. Anyone else think so?
Because when an employee thinks badly of oneself, agrees to worse conditions and asks for nothing better, he or she will stay here to work as a robot until getting axed. That's why so many when they leave say 'Oh I don't understand why I didn't leave earlier'.

Spent 30 plus years at the X..No matter what one did or accomplished upper
Management was never satisfied. There was always a push to do more with less. Making targets was not enough.
Good hard working people were worn down with evaluations constantly termed “unacceptable.” Seems things have not changed.
My confidence was in the shredder working at Xerox, but I worked hard to muster what was left inside me to find a better position in a growth sector. This is the hottest job market in years. If you choose to stay, it’s on you now.
Just the opposite....I am way too good to work here....
Couple of winners. People have confidence, maybe not always enough, but don’t criticize until you walk in their shoes. It’s easy to say, not as easy to do. Damn ya’ll are so hard on people.
If self confidence can be destroyed that easily, you never really had any now did you? There are only a handful of people that post here, but damn are y'all soft...
