one belk means doing someone else’s job for no pay. It’s a total and complete joke, yet some desperate associates fall for it and will continue to do the jobs of three people. This is as bad as retail can get, and despite corporate saying they appreciate you, they don’t. Belk won’t be around much longer, private equity only keeps companies they invest in for a maximum of seven years.

No hard feelings here too. It’s called running a business to the ground. Remember The Art of The Deal famous book published by Trump? It ends with all chapter 11 in all of his business adventures! If Belk CEO reads that book, he knows how to see the light at the end of the tunnel for Belk workers.

Many folks here remember how it was when it was family owned. Things got weird when they sold the company.

If this sounds like your company and your store- you may want to wake up and find a new career outside of Belk or any other corporate conglomerate with a useless leader only lining their pockets in your behalf.
