Head guy tried to play a game with me. Said move here and we will get you a company car and a bonus. 40+ years in system. I pretended to be emotional so he thought I cared. Got these numbchucks for another 5 years at 6 figures now. stay calm and think good
When they add a role its a two year timer. They will look to promote or severance you out. I've seen it rinse and repeat for 40 years.
My department announced layoff on March 8. Had to stay until August 6 to train the Mexico team. Took two in a half months off to rest. I start my new job November 8th with my batteries fully charged. This is the best thing to ever happen to me while at Pepsi !
Q: How do I get a severance package?
A: Don’t quit
