@ccvj+1dyzJoi5 Wasn't referring to this site. I thought that was obvious.
@cfyc+1dyzJoi5 "discovery is going to be magnificent"
Let me get this right. You captured screenshots of people anonymously expressing different opinions on a public non-Cisco website. Who's going to discover what exactly? The only magnificent discovery here is that your neurons are misfiring.
At the end of the day I expect more people will be terminated for creating a toxic workplace, violating protected medical information, violating ADA and EEOC based laws and regulations ... than the unvaxxed.
I've also seen the comments made to those who medically can't get the shot (or a second one). I've screen captured those comments and kept all communications.
Discovery is going to be magnificent.
I know there is good in you Chuck. Fran hasn't driven it from you fully. That was why you couldn't fire me. That's why you won't bring me to your human resources now.
" nobody wants to work with a dirty unvaccinated plague rat anyway. Gross."
Please, make sure you tell your unvaccinated coworkers this. Heck, say it during a meeting with the whole team.
I'm sure those with autoimmune issues and blood cancers will appreciate your comments.
Sh---y raises and now this cr-p. It's not worth it.
If you don't want to get a shot, then go work somewhere else. The job market is OPEN. You are not required to work at Cisco. Besides, nobody wants to work with a dirty unvaccinated plague rat anyway. Gross.
"The vaccines we have today for COVID have saved us from a massive public health catastrophe. I just don't see any way that last statement isn't 100% correct. Just remember the death and hospitalization we had just this last summer. "
We've had more deaths this year, since the introduction of the vaccine, then we did last year with none.
The number of Boeing Co employees seeking a vaccine exemption on religious or medical grounds has reached more than 11,000 - or nearly 9% of its U.S. workforce - a level many times higher than executives initially estimated, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
I guess Cisco's percentage is close to Boeing's. At Boeing, HR can't possibly process those exemptions in due time. What happens next? I wouldn't be surprised to see the deadline move by two months.

Private business can do whatever the he-l it wants. You’re free to find another job. Good luck!
Mandate or not Cisco is requiring all sales roles to be vaccinated to see customers. I am sure Cisco has a number of customers that are requiring this for in person meetings which are picking up. This was before the EO was even issued. My guess is the sale org is further along the vaccination path than the corporate group as a whole.
"It is pretty clear you don't understand the differences between vaccines and dr-gs."
Pretty clear that you haven't researched the tech involved with these "vaccines." Only called a vaccine for political reasons. They are not vaccines by any definition pre 2020.
They are unique "whatever" that causes the body to produce spike proteins. That's not how vaccines work. Repeat: These are NOT vaccines.
"That is one way of finding out who is and isn't vaccinated."
Why do you want to know protected health information?
Just found out my team (12 of us) are all eligible to see customers....ie we are all vaxxed. That is one way of finding out who is and isn't vaccinated.
Hi people on both sides. I am just an average person. I don't have a Master or Ph.D degree. All I have is a little thought about this sensitive topic. I spent time watching this video https://rumble.com/vokrf7-sen.-johnson-expert-panel-on-federal-vaccine-mandates.html?fbclid=IwAR2lNDnPj7E2xilji6k26oKmniQ2e8eB3GhVvecm0gf7PpC-Fv3xnARNSqE
The flowchart they used in the video is simple for me to understand so I hope you won't have any trouble with it. It said
Are COVID 19 Vaccines effective and safe?
If your answer is yes then ":the vaccine mandates are pointless"
And if your answer is no, then you'll get the same result "vaccine mandates are pointless"
Now, I don't have access to the real data and I also are not good with analysis to find out what's good or bad and what's true or untrue. All I want is to have an option. I have been waiting for my religious exemption approval. Praying that it would be easy and smooth but if things didn't go as my hope, guys and girls those who got the jabs and didn't have any reaction, I thank God that you didn't have to worry about anything but I hope you don't come here and laugh at others. Let's wait until you got into the trouble and see how you deal with it.
I'm still shaking my head over the advertising for "hybrid work" that csco put on the world series. Work from home includes vaccination so why not include that little tidbit? Because then they see it is more garbage from them trying to push webex. There should have been the tiny print or the attorney talking at 600MPH at the end with that caveat.
"2 days with no adverse reactions is not an indicator you won't have a severe issue 2 years from now or 10 years from now (as has happened with other medications). How many commercials have you seen with "you may be entitled to compensation"
It is pretty clear you don't understand the differences between vaccines and dr-gs.
Informed consent is important and seems to be left out of the conversation. Below is a link to the Clinical Trials for those under the age of 30 which concluded on Oct. 7th. I would pay particular attention to the inclusion and exclusion criteria for the trial. For those saying it has been well tested and safe for those with certain conditions or for pregnant women as you can see they were excluded from this study.

"I too got the vaxx on Saturday. No real issues to report, sore arm that is about it."
Responses like this are humorous.
2 days with no adverse reactions is not an indicator you won't have a severe issue 2 years from now or 10 years from now (as has happened with other medications). How many commercials have you seen with "you may be entitled to compensation"? All of those were "safe and effective" from the FDA and they had actual long term studies supporting that.
I too got the vaxx on Saturday. No real issues to report, sore arm that is about it. Do you see the ELT having another check-in in December and sharing the vaccination rate?
Or maybe they have a life and don’t surf troll/larp sites like this on the weekend?
If you are denied a religious accommodation for a sincerely held belief by Cisco file a complaint with the EEOC immediately. Know your rights under the law.
https://www.eeoc.gov/
Notice shills for corp are absent on weekends? Guess they don't get paid overtime.
I have heard that the video of Cisco saying to use their doctors if your doctor is "hesitant" or tells you that their medical opinion is not to get vaccinated is out in the wild. I can't remember if it was Fran or Chuck was the one saying it or not. Has anyone seen it?
I think the information has been scrubbed for sharepoint.
social compact. Good comments. I didn't even consider this aspect. Sure, get the shot and get laid off a few months later anyway. Employment at Cisco is always at high risk due to routine layoffs. There is zero security at this company.
I can imagine how pi---d I'd be if I got the shot, had a bad reaction, only to be LR'd six months later. Potential lifetime of issues versus .. what?
All you hard core vaxxers shaming and insulting people, well, you may just get LR'd too. Good luck and may the odds forever be in your favor.
For anybody who wants to take this shot, think about what is the social contract between you and Cisco: for how long does Cisco guarantee that you keep your job if in exchange for the shot?
...
Exactly - you have absolutely no guarantee. You can get laid off a couple of months down the road. You can be let go 6-8 months down the road if/when you refuse to take the booster (you betcha it's coming...). And what do you get in return? At most 6 months of protection against severe disease (with absolute risk reduction less than 1% for most people under 50) and a non-negligible risk of severe adverse effects. And if you get those - God help you, because the doctors won't. And who is going to take care of your family then?
Given stupid = person that works against own interests AND those of humanity. Turns out this percentage is constant across all other factors... societies fall when enough non-stupid people behave in stupid ways on important matters.
Rather than mindlessly believing and spewing forth propaganda consider attempting to understand how this vax tech is different, how the vax mandate is different, WHY are we at each other's throats (hint: standard practice when transitioning to tyranny), what is at stake here, etc...
Our only hope is for the non-stupid to behave as such. Let's heed Orwell's 1984 warning and fight techno-tyranny. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Hello
I have been part of the accommodation process in the past.
In my past accommodation request, there was no "deadline." I was told that deadlines were a violations of the ADA. The company has to make a reasonable effort to accomodate and a fixed deadline with an evolving issue was not reasonable.
Second, a "form" was not necessary. A verbal notification of a need for accomodation was all that was required.
"Reasonable" accommodation is key. For those who work remote, accommodation SHOULD be easy and a no brainer.
According to the company, they aren't following the OSHA requirements (which are far more flexible than Cisco is being). I'm not sure even if they are following the EO mandate for federal contractors, since that too, allows for accommodations for remote workers or weekly testing for in office.
IMO, it appears Cisco is violating multiple ADA reasonable accommodation rules.
@9kew+1dyzJoi5 "Vest my RSUs and I'd be out" --> doesn't sound unreasonable honestly. I'm vaxxed so it doesn't apply to me, but I agree that if Cisco is forcing you out without much choice (you don't want to be vaxxed: fine, it's your right) then it should be done to ensure employees don't end up queueing in the bread line.
@9qdx+1dyzJoi5 If you're waiting for your employer to give you medical advice, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Surely you can pick your own physician. Regarding employees who've had documented, verifiable adverse reactions to a first jab, they have a good case for a valid medical exception. If they don't obtain it, then something is very broken and by all means they should fight! I'm mostly baffled by those convinced they have such a strong case against what's a blatant unconstitutional EO. You have four options: get vaxxed, successfully obtain an exemption, leave or sue. Total freedom.
"You can checkout anytime you want."
Vest my RSUs and I'd be out ASAP.
"I really wonder how many clowns really will sue Cisco over this. Think about it. Cisco is following an EO. If the EO leaves room to be interpreted, how can Cisco possibly be charged with any wrongdoing? All you wannabe lawyers should sue the POTUS directly! Or how about this: if you no longer feel all cuddly with your employer, just leave and find a job some place more friendly? Much cheaper and quicker, far less heartburn, it's win-win!"
So inclusive, and still not addressing the employees that have reported severe adverse reactions. Some due to to medical exceptions not being responded to by Cisco and feeling like they have no other choice to make. especially giving the small time window that Cisco did.
It's not like Cisco gave their employees medical advice, asked them to ignore their medical doctors advice, asked them to use Cisco's doctors for guidance regarding the vaccines, and ignored employee medical exemption request. Oh wait...
Keep on attacking people instead of their arguments and concerns and wanting people out who don't agree with your world view. It's a great look for the company.
@9psw+1dyzJoi5 oh so because I ain't gonna sue Cisco, I'm a wimp/cuck/collaborator. Yeah that makes sense. In your alternate reality universe, it probably does. Gee, just resign already. So many people have tried to explain it to you: you're not in jail. You can checkout anytime you want. What part of that do you fail to comprehend?
For those who put in for a religious or medical accommodation, the forms are in the updated FAQs. Start now before employee resources contacts you.
"I really wonder how many clowns really will sue Cisco over this."
There are a few words to describe people like you; coward, slave, cuck, wimp, collaborator, drone and many more.
Democrat Governor Laura Kelly of Kansas says Biden's vaccine mandate is "not correct or effective for Kansas" It's starting to unravel.
I know somebody who is concerned taking the shot, due to his condition - bout with pancreatic cancer. He is afraid of taking the shot / does not want tot take the shot - works 100% from home. His doctor's default recommendation is - " take the shot, the risk is minimal, even though there are no studies regarding impact of the vaccine on blood cancer patients". So my friend asks the doctor, " what if I run into complications?".... doctor has no answer. follow up question from friend, " can you write me a note saying it is risky due to medical condition"? Doctor responds " No I cannot, because if you do get Covid, I can get into a medical malpractice lawsuit maybe". Friend's follow up question - " if a person takes the shot and gets seriously sick, isn't that a risk of lawsuit as well?" doctor responds " either way we are stuck, but there is better backup in terms a lawsuit, if I side with the government, than go otherwise, so I cannot write a note that you should postpone your vaccines, this is the reality". My friend is now shopping for a doctor , who can write a note, so he can keep his job.
I really wonder how many clowns really will sue Cisco over this. Much cheaper and quicker, far less heartburn, it's win-win!
You guys can fight it if you like but I got the jab yesterday. I got a family to help support and the wife had already been vaccinated back in the summer with no issues. I'm not anti-vax, it appears by all rational measures to be safe. Yes some very small percentage will have a reaction but for me I have this behind me and can go about my life without this over my head
totally agree with the comment below. there's lots of us that will join you in the lawsuit
