Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

How not to get burned out?

I don't remember ever, in any other company, being more tired than I've been here in recent days. Is there any way to avoid a burnout at Allstate?

Bare minimum folks, bare minimum. This company deserves nothing more. Wages suck so give them a comparable level of effort. If you are working yourself to a mental frazzle for these hoodlums then you are the fool. Just do the bare minimum to keep your job if you cannot or decide not to pursue other employment. I am sticking it out doing the minimum as most companies in my area have returned to in office full time and I want to do this work from home thing as long as I can. Do just enough to keep your job but nothing more. Sure the higher end metrics are impossible now to achieve for BTE and raises so why bother to waste your time? On the other hand the minimum metrics to keep your job and almost impossible not to meet even half assing it. Less effort = less stress and less burnout.

I just stopped caring. I’m making more in event pay then I did with my 1% raise. I do what I told to do but nothing more.

One way to avoid the burnout is to not work for Allstate on the first place or gtfo if you do

It’s hard . Just think with the new metrics and new yearly production goals in claims there’s no hope in getting the measly 2-3% annual raises anymore . No incentive or motivation to keep working 50-60 hour weeks and spend time with our families .
