Getting rid of Les was all part of the plan. Let's face it, ALL CEO's do inappropriate things one way or another. I mean, come on, who would WANT to actually fu-k Bob aside from his wife (if he has one)? He can only coerce, that's all he can do. But, when you have backup, you can hide anything and out anyone at your discretion, AND move the ball in whatever direction you please. That's what power is. Shari decided this was the move that was best for HER. Simple as that.
