Get busy working or get busy dying!"

Now employees are working up to six days. they are trying to systematically burn full time employees out so they quit. Then they hire teens at minimum wage. Belk use to struggle to give full timers 32 hours, now they require some to work 40-48 over a six day stretch. They are also still holding some employees accountable for credit and sales goals but have them doing non-selling tasks and projects.
When managers expect you to do things they, can’t won’t or don’t want to do, that is a clear sign of working for hypocrites. When hypocrisy starts to run rampant in any business, it means one thing———the doors are about to be closed permanently. Please don’t allow a mangers to be hypocritical.

"You should show me some respect, if you want that. The door of loyalty and dedication swings both ways". I told my boss last year but I guess nobody really care at Belk!
Belk is doing this to push certain employees out, especially older senior employees or employees that have been on medical leave or have doctors appointments. They want to make every aspect of the job unbearable. It’s intentional. All I can say is get out while you can! A reputable business posts schedules atleast a week in advance.
It's the usual, Belk expects you to devote your life to them.
