Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

Can Cenovus track people who post here?

I've wanted to share some of my experiences working here but am worried about the company finding me a taking legal action? I wouldn't reveal too much, but could the company use resources or take this site to court to get IP#s of people posting? Just wondering. Keep up the good fight everyone

Yes. Are you forgetting that every keystroke can be traced? Nothing is ever anonymous...

Can't speak for any other internet service providers, but if you are with Telus and post here independent of Cenovus' network, Telus security won't reveal your personal information.

Integrity line does not work. At least for HSE. I lost my job and now Cenovus has the “best” IT leadership team.

No, they can’t.

Not even layoff.com can track as there is no log in requirement. They can only determine the regional IP if layoff ever had to track, but it would collapse the website if they did, and they won’t

Integrity line works lol. I’ve seen numerous people dismissed after through investigations. Those claiming it doesn’t either haven’t used it, nobody called the number or else the claims were investigated and determined to be frivolous. Enough of your bs and lies.

Integrity hotline will just cover it up like they have covered up the racism at CL. They tell you you matter when you are talking with them but they fail to act. They are using it to make it seem like you have a voice. Maybe its time for people to go to the media about the acts of racism and the hostile working environment that have been covered up at CL.

Hey Bob. Why are you posting on here?

My experience with integrity hotline is that it’s a complete joke …
They always find a way to cover it or find a middle ground if you are complaining about a senior manager who violated the ethics or work place rules

Everyone here has been waiting. What do you know? What can you speak to? Sure seems like nothing to me. Stop wasting our time. You won't reveal anything because you don't have the stones. Am I trying to provoke you? Darn rights. Out with it "whistleblower" or be gone.

As much as people would like to think this, nobody can really be bothered with what is posted here and what you post here is not really worth your time. If you have a problem contact the integrity hotline. Don’t be a silly a-s.

They can’t do anything with your IP address from a home computer. They can certainly track you (and do track you) if you post from work.
