New hires shouldn't get too comfortable. Lately, most new employees come with an expiration date. Xerox hires a bunch of people to inflate the numbers and then has another round of layoffs to appease the shareholders. Rinse and repeat. New employees are sadly used as cannon fodder in this tactic.

College new hire prospects, beware, they blow the old wind song. Apply a strong dose of critical thinking if looking to work here.
It's cool if you just need a job to show to your p.o. First of all $ y'all be buggin on here, Xerox ain't that serious so just calm down. Second $ it's kinda tight watching it all go down like this, like fall of Berlin Wall or something else that's ill.
Plenty of much better options in the job market
Why the he-l does anyone choose to work for Xerox as a new hire? Xerox is where careers go to die
You did not just say that….did you?
I will agree not everyone has that skill. But hiring out of school you should already know and expect that.
Maybe 3 at that time wouldn’t cut it.
Xerox is notorious for doing this.
They had no intention of keeping all 12. But only keeping 2? This is xerox remember! These guys were not dummies. Of the 12 I knew seven. And they were smart people. There only mistake was trusting xerox in the first place.
Have you ever thought that only 2 out of 12 passes the grade? Communication Skills, responsibility and attitude are important to retaining a job with any organization.
It’s always been that way. They used to hire 12 guys out trade school. (Devry)
Then keep like 2. Xerox has been known for that for years. I’m sure this is nothing new other than it being exposed more now. This place is beyond a Lost cause. Just Leave. 👋
