Lowe's is currently holding hiring events left and right. Hmmm, I wonder if that could have anything to do with the fact that they either outright let go of or forced out so many people in the past ten months that now that the holiday season is here 1) there is an acute shortage of employees and 2) nobody is applying since everybody knows what a cr---y place to work this is... It's good to see management squirm, though.

They will keep having hiring events if they keep handing out junk pay and a junk work schedule that fluctuates so often that you have to take on a second job to make ends. It doesn't make sense why they run this same circle over and over again.
McDonalds, habit Hamburgers and others starting pay is $17-$19 an hour. Many fast food restaurants closing at 7pm in California. Choose lowe’s at $14 or them?
Short answer: Staffing issues at Lowe's caused by cr-p pay, cr-p hours, cr-p training, and cr-p management.
I usually try to tell people to come in earlier but when they show up and it's the middle of the shift and they have to wait an hour you should have came in earlier. We are not equipped to handle big sales anymore

Hmmmm.....I wonder if it's simply retail and everyone on the globe is hiring.
I went in Wednesday just for fun and got hired immediately at 4 different stores. Once they figure out I’m not actually going to show up they might be kind of mad.

There's been a shortage of employees all year. They've hired part timers and they gavevthem little or no hours so they quit.
