I think you are both right. They do know and don't care and it does not even matter anymore. The writing is on the wall. Companies like sycamore don't have any intention of turning companies around. They pretty much just suck them dry and we are almost there. Good luck to everyone what decision you make.
at this point does it really matter? look at the condition the business is in. Sears was like this for about 8 years, the last 3 years were the absolute worst, then all the stores shut down.
Are they secrets though? Or is it that they know and could not care any less?
