Let's talk about it. I know I'm not the only one that deals with it not only from customers...but from co-workers alike. Worst of all...management keeps telling me it's all in my head and that quote "they're not racist, you're just sensitive"...

Racism and favortism is rampant in our store. Sycamore will probably try to get what they can during the holday season then take a giant payment for the investors. I wish they would just hurry up about and put everybody out of their misery. Belk is a joke!
Nice and rude comes in all shades of customers.
Management, favoritism is more like it, they favor employees that make their bonuses for them
They're even petty to employees of their own shade, also the seniors.
Racism is alive and well. And so is age discrimination, I’ve seen employees over 55 treated like dirt.
No doubt there is racism there. The financials don't look good for this company so I respectfully suggest that you move on. You don't deserve this and it's not all in your head but you'd be wasting time to fight the battles here at a company in deep decline. It's grueling to change culture and this place isnt worth your time.
Upside is that you have the freedom to let them know exactly how you feel. Nothing to lose since no future here anyway. You can be blunt!
