Check out the job search. All openings are “backfills” in other places: Moscow, India, etc.

Instead of experienced hires we’re offering our better contractors full time roles. And I would presume we’ll bring in a few more contractors after. It’s basically an experienced hire that we get a trial with first. Some contractors are terrible but some are awesome. As for MSP, some can be good when you build the contract well, but in MANY cases the contracts we’ve written are sh-t. They are, understandably, only caring about the contract and metrics in it. So we need to write better contracts.
Contractor's or MSP either way you get what you pay for. Outsourcing is not the answer and by the time LT realizes it it would be too late.

The company seems to be going away from the experienced hires as many of those are now gone and seem to be focused on what they think will be stability. Unfortunately, the hiring process in the best case is 6 months. As this exit continues it will make for a challenging year upcoming for those that stay
