no vaccine is 100% effective. salk polio vaccine was only about 60% effective later versions up to 92%. flu vaccines only 40 -50%. measles about 92% shingles about 89% , others you can look up. point is covid vaccine have been tested for long period of time on similar covid type disease. also technology makes it much quicker to test vaccines even as little as 5 years ago. cocvid vaccine results in significantly less hospitalization, and great deal less deaths. man/women up and get the vaccines you bunch of cowards.
I commend the protesters who marched for their beliefs on their own dime and I wholeheartedly agree with your stance. It should be an individual right to put an experimental vaccine in your body. Especially one that is not 100% effective anyway, can cause horrific side effects, vaccinated can still spread the virus, cause variants to emerge, and continuous booster shots are needed over time.
I, on the other hand, chose to get the vaccine six months ago because of my age and health issues. I made my personal choice and, like you, on my own dime. But unlike you, you will receive time-off paid by the company to get your shot. And the whole next day off. Of course, if you choose to stay at GE.
I will not be reimbursed. Ever. Because my choice was before the mandate.
