Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

My superior just doesn't see it

Hard work doesn’t pay off here, however, the situation is even worse when your supervisor doesn’t see how hard you actually work. It is necessary to deal with all backstabbers who are very happy to take credit for other people's work. I would love to hear any advice for how to make sure your manager is well aware of your contributions?

I learned after 10 years that you need to meet with your manager on a monthly basis. Create a list that includes your work and accomplishments. Copy and paste that info into your 6 month reviews. You need to focus hard on mid year as that will carry to the end of the year.

Supervisors, superiors do not care, they only do what is needed to Cover their backside. Have not encountered a manager-supervisor that cared about anything but their a$$ since 2010. Its the cult of personality at this company. Everyone scrambles around like ants trying to save themselves, kinda like a corporate circle je-k.

If your manager can't see how hard you're working, that isn't going to change, best bet is to take advantage of the hot job market and move on to a better employer
