My question is how to be productive knowing that there are layoffs every quarter? Constant stress. Does every quarter have to be cuts? It has become so exhausting that I would love to finally get the package and get out of here.

Working for cenovus is the fastest way to hit the oil patch lotto , it's like they are handing out participation ribbons lol but really it's not the end of the world you'll get a new job where your respected and valued so bring on the layoffs it's time everyone had some change cause if this is how work is supposed to feel fu-k it I'm out

I wouldn’t wait for a package. Start looking now. Working for Cenovus is like gambling with your career and the livelihood of your family. Don’t be irresponsible. Staff are no longer an asset for this company.
If you don't have any money saved up and have a mortgage and vehicle payments you might be screwed!! The packages only last so long..
It may sound like a cliche but you should always be prepared.
