MG was told last week that next CHRO would be hire external. No wonder they couldn't care less about us. Upper management has no where to go.
Lets be honest about HR. You want to be in the top 60-75%. Bottom 50 gets laid off, top 25 is too valuable in their current roles and you make your boss look too good to be allowed to move. Once they get promoted and move on based on your hard work, you have one more year because of business continuity. Then promotion is possible (3 years late), If you fight for it.
Girl, I know that’s right! Hope you’re enjoying the new gig!
If you want her to notice you, just resign. Then, write a nice message on how Chevron is amazing on Linkedin and then she will write you a sweet message on how wonderful you are. She doesn't give 2 sh--s about you, but she will directly message you.
She can’t seem to get her a$$ off of LinkedIn!
Exactly what last commenter said. So many 25-28 who have no clue about basic HR. But they are seen by the LT as being so capable. Incompetent and have behavior problems. Cool.
You want names? Too many to list! Just look at the org chart and start from the top and from there it is everyone from RM down to the level 3 HR mgrs.
HR is expecting 10% of 21-23 to quit in April after their march bonuses. Look at the names that got placed this round. Only two are 22-23 hi-pots. The trust is gone for psg 22-23. As they refused jobs or didn't even apply.
There are 2 major problems. First is they aren't cutting the low performing 24-28s (think RM new advisor) to make room for their best performers. Second, the organization is structured that we need a ton of shared services support and many high functioning 21-23s (the people that do all the work). Most 24-28s never spent much time if any, as a HRBP.
Buckle up, lots more work headed our way when these people leave.
It’s only human…to be fake on LinkedIn.
New service delivery model a shambles? Good performers leaving in droves? Morale at increasingly low levels? Another HR reorg happening next year?
No problem! Let’s just keep congratulating random petrotech interns on social media and speaking at diversity events to tell people how awesome you are at winning in any environment. All the while your HR leaders are bullying and intimidating people instead of actually adding value to the business. And getting botox and highlights. And showing more love to offshored HR call centers than to the HR teams in the US.
Astros. A’s. Giants. She’s in every suite. All over the country. All season long. Not sure when she ever gets her job done.
Oh, wait a minute. She’s interviewing people nobody’s ever heard of on Linked In. And hosting events at the Petroelum Club. To talk about people nobody’s ever heard of. Is that her job?
Kids camp online. Oh joy. And writing about herself in HBR. She does eveything BUT her job. HR is a dumpster fire and the Queen is going to a fancy dinner in New York…
Nice come back person who posted same thing twice. You must be on the HRLT.
@1hsb yawn. Keep reaching to find things to complain about.
That’s right. Stop complaining. Just visit any Chevron funded skybox sporting event, opera, or high plate dinner - you’ll find her. Provide some rich feedback. She will react very well.
Get over yourself. Go hug your kids and stop complaining.
