Thread regarding CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield layoffs

CareFirst Week of Equity

If you are going to require us to sit on these calls, in addition to all of our other calls/meetings that weren't able to take a back seat this week, at least give us technology that works!

2nd year in a row and the technology still stinks. Couldn't get into the 9am video until 9:30, now I'm listening to sound cutting in and out and missing all content. Since we are being "recorded", logging off will most certainly get us in trouble. You're wasting your associates valuable work time!

The content this year and layout of it seemed worse than the years before.

At least, because of working remotely, we weren't forced to drive to a hotel somewhere, navigate parking, stand in long lines to get lunch, and sit compliantly listening to Brian ego stroke and sign a piece of paper.

I had to laugh that as soon as this "woke week" cr-p started, we get a blast email saying the carefirst.com website is having technical issues.

It’s too bad we couldn’t get someone from MLKs family to join us this week. They could tell us about how MLK gave women the right to vote.

(During a town hall BP said MLK gave his daughters the right to vote)

Agree it is terrible. What is the ROI for this? Just so the company can brag about it.
